When you find something you are passionate about, you know it.  When you find something you are passionate about, you know it. Since my freshman year of high school I have been passionate about photography. It was then, at the age of fourteen, that I began learning my way around a camera and a composition. Through years of high school and college classes I studied the darkroom, digital processing and editing, camera technique, great photography, art history, and all kinds of art media. Funny thing is, I always swore I'd never be a wedding photographer. In August of 2008, I married the man of my dreams and experienced firsthand how precious the photographs of a couple's wedding day become. Beginning in late 2007, the photographer I chose for my own special day gave me the opportunity to learn with him and grow my experiences by shooting several weddings with him. I found that two major parts of my personality came together in perfect harmony: my hopeless romanticism and my love for photography. Through those experiences, I fell in love with capturing images of people in love. I've always enjoyed photographing people, and the blend of creativity and photojournalism that creates great wedding images is now my favorite art form.
